We have the capabilities and skills needed to assist your product designers at any phase of the product development cycle.

We can provide complete product design that begins with a sketch from your marketing group, or we can assist in completing designs that your engineering group has begun, or we can provide that last bit of DFM advice that brings the product to successful production launch. Our Engineers can lend assistance to build a real world prototype, using our prototyping lines and 3D printing facility. Using state of the art design software for electronic, mechanic and mechatronic product design, we are able to quickly convert an idea into reality. Apart from designing new products, our engineering team can also help to solve issues around end of life components. Our highly skilled team of designers has already provided solutions in a wide variety of industries including E-mobility, Power tools, IOT, automotive, battery management systems, connectivity solutions, industrial and domestic monitoring and controlling systems etc.
Test Equipment
Elrad uses a large variety of standardized and in line test systems during the manufacturing process.

We use 3D solder paste inspection, 3D AOI automatic optical Inspection, In line X-Ray, tolerance and color monitoring, non-destructive waterproof testing, brightness and clarity check (LED), etc Every product leaving our factories is fully tested during all manufacturing stages, including and In-circuit test and functional/end test. We are proud to deliver top quality products (30ppm on average) to our customers, in the process reducing costs in their manufacturing processes and supply chain. As every product is different, Elrad offers all types of functional testing, ranging from “Bed-of-Nails” solutions, standard test systems, PC-test systems and custom designed test systems. We offer to pre-load the software, image-loading and pre-install applications and operating systems. Our test systems are linked to our ERP system to allow complete traceability of your product.
Cable manufacturing
At Elrad Wiring Systems we manufacture an extensive variety of high quality, custom cable and harness assemblies.

Our team provides engineering services, prototype-, and low to high volume production cable assemblies to a wide array of industries. To ensure the electronic assemblies we manufacture get the most reliable connection to the ‘outside world,’ we can also provide over molded cable assemblies, smart cable assemblies (including in house manufactured PCBAs and sub-assemblies with high reliability), and device specific connectors. To deliver quality, we apply visual process procedures and dedicated tooling to ensure reliability and repeatability, plus a wide range of testing capabilities from automated cable testing to full functional test on sophisticated box builds.
Tool Shop
To manufacture high‑quality plastic injection molded parts, the tool used is essential for ensuring consistent and reliable production results

Elrad has its own tools shop offering machining and finishing services to make tools from a variety of materials for low to high volume products. We design a tool from your 3D and 2D drawings. Our mold design staff includes mold designers and process technicians that fine-tune your tool and die designs to maximize efficiency and efficacy using flow and or FMEA analysis.
Injection molding
Elrad has its own injection molding facility at its Dongguan location, enabling the combination of electronics and plastic components.

A range of (German built) precision horizontal and vertical injection machines, and specialists are available to ensure a flawless product in a variety of plastics. Elrad is also a specialist in over-molding to combine two, often dissimilar materials (metal contacts and plastics) into one precision part. In sub-assembly or complete housing for your product, we fully understand the impact of tolerance management on your product assembly process and ensure that the service we provide is of the highest and most constant standard.
Metal stamping and bending
We manufacture precision stamped and bended metal parts, delivering high‑quality components that meet demanding performance.

With vast experience in designing and manufacturing for various industries, we can offer you the mechanical solution to your electronic assembly. We process materials like copper, steel, stainless steel, brass, aluminum, bronze and specialty copper-based materials in thicknesses between 0.10 and 2.5 mm on our presses (12-63T). To get the results our customers expect we use progressive stamping tools, manual bending tools, automatic stamping and bending machines and we develop, with the participation of our engineering team, the design of your products and tools.
Certifications of products
Elrad Group provides full support to its customers in obtaining product certification from the Slovenian Institute of Quality and Metrology (SIQ).
